| Door alarm beeping | The door ajar alarm sounds when a door or freezer drawer has been open for 5 minutes with cooling on, and repeats every 2 minutes until it's closed. |
| Beeping with every door shut | Not a door problem. Usually a temperature or power-outage alert. Tell us what the display shows. |
| Display dark, fridge warm | Check the breaker and outlet first. If they're fine, the control or its power supply needs a technician. |

The older workhorse. A warm fridge with a cold freezer usually traces to defrost parts or the fan behind the freezer wall.
Bottom freezer, ice maker in the door. Water and ice calls are common, and so is the fridge section warming up.
Tall narrow freezer on the left. Watch for water under the crisper drawers from a blocked defrost drain.
Freezer drawer at the bottom. A drawer that doesn't close fully lets warm air in and frost builds fast.
